Human Resources Business Partner

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Business Partner coordinates / facilitates assigned activities in the area of recruitment, employee relations and corporate employee programs. Provides support to Tim Hortons restaurant owners and employees as required.
•Strong organizational, planning and interpersonal skills
•2-4 years of Human Resources generalist experience, including recruitment
•General understanding of Quebec employment standards as well as health and safety laws
•University degree and/or college diploma in Business/Human Resources
•Strong presentation skills, experience in facilitation and training an asset
•Strong computer skills utilizing MS Office
•Strong customer service orientation, acts responsively and proactively.
•Bilingual with strong communication skills in English and French
•Responds quickly and effectively to calls, letters and emails from restaurant owners and staff regarding employee relations issues to ensure brand integrity and minimize risks.
•Ensures quality / quantity of staffing levels by coordinating and implementing an effective recruitment and selection process.
•Coaches and counsels business partners regarding personnel matters for specific client groups as identified.
•Responsible for the administration of all Human Resources paperwork.
•Provides accurate interpretation and ensures compliance with Human Resources policies and procedures.
•Facilitates training programs / workshops as required.
•Participates and chairs the Health and Safety committee and other various office programs.
•Provides ongoing assistance and support to the Human Resources Manager.
•Other tasks as required.
