We are seeking a .Net Developer to work in our product development team. Your main responsibilities will include working closely with new technologies as well as facilitating the migration of some legacy components in a SaaS based environnement. if you have the potential to become a leader, it is even better!
Responsibilities:
This position requires a commitment to research using leading edge technologies, leveraging significant experiences in enterprise computing and the ability to formulate technology direction/specifications for our suite of Web based applications. The selected candidate must have the potential to excel in a fast paced and exciting environment. Proven abilities to solve problems through research and experience will be critical in the effort of "getting the job done."
Knowledge:
• Ability to handle several projects at any given stage.
• Excellent foundation of programming concepts and methods.
• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of both development and QA processes.
• Ability to understand complex business problems and provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications as well as assist in envisioning the scope of projects.
• Relational data modeling experience.
• Windows : .NET development, ASP.NET, source control, change control, IIS, MS-SQL, MS SQL Reporting services
• Microsoft: development environment using Visual Studio IDE, SQL Server and Team Foundation Server
• A working knowledge of classic ASP and related VB/VBScript language is preferred for participation in migration related projects
Requirements:
• Bilingual (English: spoken and written, French: spoken)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on work experience in programming and web applications development
• Experience in a Microsoft ASP.NET, C#, classic ASP, VB6
• Programming: HTML/JavaScript/DHTML XML / XSLT
• Database: SQL Server 2000/2005/2008
