PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS IN CANADA AND NOT IN UNITED STATES.
Top Three Skills:
1. 2 years experience executing SIT and UAT testing on retail POS systems (Retalix or Bulloch is a big Plus)
2. 2 years experience writing test cases/scripts
3. Strong Knowledge of HPQC having used it for defect tracking for at least 2 years
Our customer is a very large retailer of gasoline in Canada. Currently they are undergoing a POS migration, moving from a tool to something new. This is being driven by a need for more responsive marketing, eventually getting closer to 1 to 1 marketing. Right now as systems become more integrated with the new technology, a QA Analyst/Tester is needed to help identify bugs and defects as the go live date approached. This will be a 12 month contract to start but could go longer.
We are looking for:
* Must have experience in testing a POS system in a retail environment
* Responsible for executing and creating test cases and tests scripts
* 3-5 years of testing experience (at least 2 years of the POS experience is a must) hands-on manual testing experience be able to create test cases/scripts-use rational tool suite for this
* Retail Sales background is a must
* Soft skills: good communication, analytical skills, team player
