  • TITLE: IT TECHNICAL SUPPORT TECHNICIAN LEVEL 1

    WORK DESCRIPTION: We have an exciting, permanent opportunity for a Level 1 technician in our Montreal office. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a client service role within an energetic and friendly team in our state of the art datacenter.

    The Level 1 technician is the primary interface with the end user client for all technical issues and is responsible for monitoring infrastructure and customer’s devices, troubleshooting and resolving problems while communicating technical issues to the end user and technical teams as per our standard operations procedures.

    CARACTERISTICS OF IDEAL APPLICANT:
    - A minimum of five (5) years of working experience in a Level 1 technical role
    - Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and general knowledge of Windows server 2008/2012/Exchange/SQL, etc.
    - Ability to multitask and work well with a variety of clients
    - Capable of learning and utilizing multiple call tracking systems
    - Ability to follow processes and possess good documentation skills
    - Candidate should be well organized and possess good customer service skills
    - Willing to learn and grow one’s technical knowledge
    - Fully bilingual French & English (written, spoken), English stronger, Spanish is an advantage.
    - Experience supporting manufacturing environments or working with US customers a plus

    SHIFT: Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) + 2 weekdays (Full Time Hours)

    SALARY: Commensurate with experience & technical skills (expect testing during the interview)
