  • The Kamik team is looking for a Content Strategist with strong collaborative skills to join our Communications Marketing team. The Content Strategist will play a crucial function in ensuring all brand content/editorial calendars are developed and shared through exceptional support and attention to detail. He/She will make sure everything we do is aligned with the communication brand platform and contribute to our Digital Ecosystem in order to expand our brand’s digital footprint, awareness and equity, while developing a relationship with our consumers. This role requires a command of best practices and trends in social media marketing and brand content and an understanding of how to both build and convert a digital audience.

    Responsibilities:

    •Build and manage a brand content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties and enables us to interact and engage with it.
    •Develop editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone.
    •Manage creation and development of shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread both our brand and our content across all communication platforms.
    •Manage and deliver all Social activities for Kamik, working in collaboration with the brand’s communication team, sales team, key accounts, external influencers and partner agencies, to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
    •Manage the brand’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
    •Participate in Strategy and lead execution of our email database strategy, including our annual newsletter calendar.
    •Participate in Strategy and lead launch and execution of our blog and website content.
    •Grow our subscriber base by providing them with regular, helpful content and interactions that are aligned with their needs and interests in order to convert them into loyal consumers and brand ambassadors.
    •Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives to report on social media and content ROI.
    •Managing due diligence and approvals required to ensure compliant and approved communications (Final sign off marketing, design, sales, proofreader, legal, etc.)
    •Manage and organise all brand content and assets, and ensure distribution and access to all stakeholders.

    Required Skills:

    •Ability to organize, prioritize and display flexibility within a fast paced, cross-functional work environment.
    •Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.
    •Excellent time management skills with strong attention to detail.
    •Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
    •A positive “can do”, “roll-up-sleeves”, “how can I help” attitude.
    •Highly motivated and eager to learn.
    •Strong owner attitude of what he/she is accountable for.
    •Comfortable at multi-tasking, problem solving and able to work independently.
    •Is solutions oriented.
    •Participate in change and efficiency of the department as well as on a company level.

    Qualifications:

    •Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or other related field.
    •3+ years professional experience in digital & social marketing experience and content creation.
    •Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience.
    •Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French (Mandatory)
    •Excellent writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business' various types of content.
    •Proficiency In using social media software to monitor social media conversations. You will be our ear to the ground.
    •Knowledge in the German language is an asset but not mandatory.

    Employment status: Permanent, full-time , day
