In order to complete our business intelligence (BI) team, Mediagrif is looking for a Business Intelligence Programmer Analyst that stands out because of his versatility and ability to overcome new challenges, in order to contribute to the success of various large-scale projects. The candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of BI applications. The Business Intelligence Programmer Analyst performs technical analyses, creates code and reports as well as performs integration and unitary tests.
The Business Intelligence Programmer Analysts has three to five years of experience in computer programming, ideally with business intelligence software (Cognos, WebFOCUS, BO, etc.). The Business Intelligence Programmer Analyst has a solid experience with relational databases and the SQL language. Knowledge of various BI concepts such as data modeling, performance and management indicators definitions, are considered an asset.
Reporting to the BI Team Leader, the Business Intelligence Programmer Analyst has various responsibilities and works with a minimum of supervision. Self-educated, the Business Intelligence Programmer Analyst suggests solutions to various problems. The Business Intelligence Programmer Analyst stays up to date on the latest tendencies in his domain. Autonomy and initiative are essential prerequisites.
• Bachelor’s degree or College degree in computer programming or equivalent;
• Three (3) to five (5) years of programming experience;
• Knowledge of the WebFOCUS software is an important asset;
• Experience with Web applications development is an asset;
• Knowledge of the following programming languages: Java, HTML, JSP, XML, VB, etc.;
• Experience with relational databases and the SQL language;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Desire to learn and to participate in the development of new business solutions.
