  • Market Research and Data Analyst

    Tempo is looking for a market researcher and data analyst to work closely with our cross-functional product, marketing, and business development teams. This role works closely with others to develop and deliver data-driven insights that ultimately drive the company’s customer-first product line and messaging that drives optimal value to our customers.     The ideal candidate will proactively conduct thorough market analyses, build business cases, and determine the likelihood of success of proposed product initiatives.

    The role involves:

    Leading and contributing to large-­scale strategic projects as well as ongoing activities by partnering with cross-­functional teams.
    Conducting market research on current and future product supply and demand.
    Powering product and marketing teams with data and insights to enable quality and timely decisions.
    Creating and maintaining insightful data visualizations to track and quantify customer feedback loops.
    Developing insightful metrics to measure performance and guide product development.
    Designing and analyzing A/B testing experiments to test new product ideas and converting results into actionable product recommendations.

    The ideal candidate:

    Has a sound theoretical and practical knowledge of Operational and Quantitative Research, Statistics and Marketing.
    Has impressive experience in market research, data analysis, decision support or analytics functions in internet or technology industries.
    Has excellent oral and written English communication skills and has the capability to explain complicated quantitative concepts to non-­technical stakeholders.
    Is capable of translating business requirements eloquently into clear, yet detailed analysis plans.
    Knows web analytics, social networking analytics, and A/B testing.
    Is organised and prioritizes requests to meet the most important and urgent business needs first.
    Has a strong command of Excel/spreadsheets including pivots, database and other advanced functions.
    Is familiar with Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence)
