BILINGUAL CLIENT CARE COUNSELLOR
Location: Montreal
Start Date: January 16, 2012
As an enthusiastic, dedicated and energetic mental health professional, you will contribute actively to the strength of the clients and our EAP network. Reporting to Supervisor, Client Care Counsellors, the Bilingual Client Care Counsellor is responsible for ensuring warm and professional access to services by employees and families of customer organizations, assessing needs accurately and channeling the client into the appropriate stream of service for efficient and professional support.
You have a graduate degree (Master’s level education in Social Work, Counselling, Education with counselling focus, etc) complemented by clinical experience. You are a member of, or qualify to be registered with a professional association. Your knowledge of short term counselling is, ideally, enhanced by previous experience in EAP counselling, addiction assessment and/or trauma services. Strong goal setting, case management abilities and knowledge of community resources will ensure your success in this role. You have the ability to work rotating shifts.
Bilingualism (EnglishFrench) is a must.
