Manpower is hiring for our client's Customer Insight Center, located in Springdale, Ohio. The department handles the customer service needs of the independent sales representatives, and is also tasked to use the insights gleaned from our interactions with representatives to improve our business processes. The Customer Insight Center is itself transforming, adding new functions, staff, and technologies to provide a world-class customer experience for our representatives as they build their businesses.
The Payment and Credit department is one of the newly created functions. Payment and Credit Specialists assist with alleviating field managers of administrative tasks. The main goal of the department is to assist and resolve Representative issues concerning credit, such as credit holds and assisting with payments and credit issues. Specialists accept phone payments and resolve any escalated issues related to Representative payments. As well, Specialists initiate outbound calls to handle all operational activities related to delinquent accounts with the main objective of offering quick resolution to collection related disputes and reducing the number of Representatives discontinuing their business due to being past due.
More specifically the Payment and Credit Specialist Coordinator will:
Initiate outbound calls to take necessary action for order release (payment on the part of the Representative, waive fees if there is a balance dispute, etc), and to prevent Representatives from discontinuing their business due to a past due balance on their account.
Resolve escalated issues including but not limited to: making outbound calls to Representatives to support in finding a resolution/taking payments on accounts, communicating with Representatives/Customer Care to gather and review documentation and place notes of actions on accounts.
Process payment of paper checks and credit cards received on "write off" accounts and reconcile of payment to accounts
Timely process Bankruptcy and Deceased notices, maintain accounts, and communicate to Field and Collection agencies as needed.
Set up and maintain retained Pay & Sell accounts; resolve Field inquiries.
Handle credit processing for LABCs, Offshore, Sales Center and any other process requiring paper based support.
Look for opportunities to improve process and champion the quality of the Representative experience.
High School Diploma required; College degree preferred
Minimum 2 years' experience in Customer Service or Finance.
Must net typing 40 wpm with less than 5% error.
Must have Wonderlic basis skills assessment at level 2 for verbal and math skills.
Spanish speaking an asset.
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Proven experience in a customer service environment.
Ability to communicate diplomatically and tactfully in order to develop close relationships with internal and external customers.
Problem solving, multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills needed.
Proven ability to follow directions and/or work independently as necessary.
Proven ability to function in team environment.
Responsible for initiating calls to potential clients using a prepared selling script. Promotes and sells products and services of company. Includes Telemarketer jobs.
