  • We are currently looking for an Adaptation/Localization Coordinator. This position is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) temporary position for a maternity leave replacement for approximately 12 months.

    The Coordinator oversees single-language and multilingual packaging and instruction adaptations for various markets, assuring all brands\marketing strategies are preserved, within the specified timeline.

    •Under the supervision of the Manager, the Coordinator plans and coordinates specific tasks for toys and games packaging/instruction from translation to project release
    •Assign multilingual translation tasks
    •Download reference files received for adaptation
    •Generate project form from a database
    •Prepare and format the translation documents for all projects
    •Mark up PDF files to indicate required changes to the graphic designers
    •Review/validate artwork to make sure all textual and graphic elements comply with the specific Hasbro standards/marketing style guides
    •Coordinate all regional market communication for single-language and multilingual projects to ensure proper approvals are obtained before releasing packaging artwork
    •Coordinate artwork revisions
    •Act as a liaison with Rhode Island Editorial/licensing teams to gather final approvals
    •Coordinate all project communications with graphic designers
    •Coordinate artwork adaptation and film release with the graphic designer teams
    •Communicate with the global structure
    •Validate specifications to ensure that all required components are being adapted
    •Enter all project information into a database for KPI reporting
    •Support the Senior Project and Process Coordinator in the maintenance of the database.
    •Maintain project folders with appropriate documents (final PDF files)
    •Coordinate and communicate with the translators the final market changes


    •College diploma or university degree in Business Administration or relevant field
    •Three years of relevant experience
    •Excellent computer knowledge and skills in a PC environment (MS Office suite, Internet, Adobe Acrobat)
    •Knowledge of MS Access, an asset
    •Programming knowledge in .net, SQL, VB Script, an asset
    •Excellent speaking/writing communication skills in French and English
    •Experience in the consumer product industry is an advantage
    •Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
    •Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks at once
