    Our Enterprise practice provides specialized accounting and review services (review engagements, notices to reader (compilation), personal and corporate taxes) to businesses and individuals.

    We are currently seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to fill a permanent position on our team.

    Roles and responsibilities:

    • Prepare review and compilation (notices to reader) files
    • Prepare personal and corporate income tax returns and other tax slips
    • Assist managers with material for client presentations
    • Understand accounting and review concepts and apply them to client situations
    • Adapt review methodology to a range of client types
    • Foster an efficient, innovative and team-focused environment
    • Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery
    • Perform any other related duties
    Requirements:
    • University degree
    • CPA, CA or CPA, CGA designation
    • A minimum of four years of experience in accounting and in performing review and compilation engagements
    • Working knowledge of management companies (portfolio investments)
    • Proficiency in Taxprep and Caseware (Quicken an asset)
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel
    • Self-starter with strong attention to detail
    • Ability to deliver in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients, team members and outside parties
    • Flexibility for occasional travel within the Greater Montréal Area
    • Flexibility to work additional hours as required
    • Bilingual
