What is the opportunity?
In this acquisition focused role, you develop and execute plans to increase RBC’s market share through attracting and fully anchoring new clients across the enterprise. You work closely with market contacts and RBC partners to identify opportunities to provide advice and recommendations. Your ability to maintain awareness of local market conditions and the competitive environment, while pursuing opportunities aligned to the bank’s risk appetite, will lead to your success in this role.
What will you do?Acquire new-to-RBC commercial clients and partner with the RBC team to deliver advice and solutions tailored to meet client needsWork with the Commercial Vice President and Commercial Account Managers to ensure client introductions are well managed and a positive client experience is createdConnect clients with RBC team members across the enterprise to meet the needs of the business and business ownersDevelop and foster external business referral sources through networking, your centres of influence, and active engagement in market activities
What do you need to succeed?
Must-haveMinimum 2 years’ experience in client facing roles, working in a commercial banking environmentProven networking and client acquisition skillsStrong financial acumen and experience in conducting financial and risk analysis and structuring of banking solutions to meet client needs with varying levels of complexityA solid network resulting in referrals, new clients, and increased business opportunitiesAbility to cultivate strong partner relationshipsMust be bilingual
