  • Description
    The role involves the ability to build strong partnerships and can drive results by generating sales through financial intermediaries such as financial planners and investment advisors (MFDA & IIROC).

    The incumbent will be situated in Montreal.

    Accountabilities

    - Work alongside Investment Advisors and Financial Planners to increase their knowledge of our suite of wealth management solutions (BMO Mutual Funds and BMO Exchange Traded Funds).
    - Provide leadership, business planning and sales support for BMO Investments Inc. products within a geographic sales region.
    - Develop a network and database of geography-specific qualified financial advisors capable of selling BMO Investments Inc. solutions.
    - Coordinates sales activities with a sales region.
    - Meeting with a network of qualified financial advisors individual or in a group setting to present sales ideas and market updates.
    - Implementation of BMO Investments Inc. national sales plan within a geographic sales region.
    - Champion all opportunities to enhance BMO Investments Inc. product knowledge and expertise with financial advisors in a geographic sales region.
    - Provide regional budgetary leadership and oversight.
    - Partner with BMO Investments Inc. regional sales professionals and marketing team to share best practices and ensure consistency of service delivery.
    - Communicate regularly with BMO Investments Inc. sales management on regional sales strategies, priorities, sales targets, performance standards, marketing plans and accomplishments.
    Qualifications
    - University degree with an orientation toward business and finance
    - Minimum of 3 -5 years of brokerage, financial planning or related investment sales experience, including at least 2 years in a wholesale role
    - Industry credentials are preferred (Canadian Securities, CIM, FCSI, CFP or CFA).
    - Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
    - Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
    - Well-developed strategic thinking skills
    - Bilingualism (French/English)
