    Based out of our Advice Centre, you’ll act as a trusted over-the-phone Advisor for RBC Insurance clients’ home and auto insurance needs. Using your deep industry knowledge and strong people skills, you will provide the comprehensive and accurate advice that our clients deserve.

Our comprehensive training program will provide you with the necessary skills and resources to help identify and analyze risks and provide complete solutions to clients – while building a fulfilling career for yourself.


    - Sell property and casualty insurance marketed through an inbound/outbound call centre, ensuring customers are charged premiums commensurate with risk.

    - Advise and quote customers on the most appropriate product for their needs.

    - Identify and analyze acceptable risks and decline unacceptable one (or escalate for further evaluation).

    - Provide complete solutions to customer concerns/problems, escalating where necessary and appropriate.

    - Perform front-line underwriting of property and casualty renewal policies.

    What we’re looking for: Self-motivation and the drive to achieve – and go beyond –  sales goalsStrong communications skills (in French and English),  with an ability to deliver fast and efficient serviceA talent for listening, establishing rapport, and finding the right insurance solutions for clientsWillingness and ability to successfully obtain a General Insurance License for Ontario (and other provinces) full training program will be provided to assist you in reaching this goal if you do not have a valid OTL or RIBO license                                                                                                                           An excellent telephone manner and intermediate IT skills, as well as multi-tasking and problem-solving skillsA committed willingness and understanding of the expectation to work flexible shifts, as our centre is open extended hours in order to better help our clients Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 8:30 pm & Saturday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
