    As an Analyst, Client Contact Centre, you play a front-line role at BDC. Whether it be by telephone or email, you may be the first contact a client or future client has with BDC. You therefore draw on your communication and analytical skills to adequately see to their needs and requests. Moreover, through these requests, you will be the one identifying new business opportunities.     In a typical week, you would:

    -Handle telephone calls and email requests from clients and prospects, making sure that you thoroughly understand and meet their needs;

    -Use your excellent financial analysis skills to evaluate the potential need for financial and/or consulting services and, as applicable, refer clients to the appropriate business centre;

    -Follow up on financing opportunities with the business centres and maintain strong business relationships with them;

    -As per your analysis, refuse requests that do not meet BDC's criteria, and communicate the rejection to the client concerned, taking care to specify the necessary justifications;

    -Exercise quick thinking and use your influence to propose a mutually-satisfying solution to a client who files a complaint, before initiating the established process.

    -Do you have a college diploma or certificate in administration (or equivalent)?

    -Do you possess excellent communication skills in both French and English and at least three years' relevant experience?

    -Do you have strong analytical skills, the capacity to learn new software quickly and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications?

    -Do you strive to deliver an outstanding client experience?

    -Are you available Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. (for seven-hour shifts) to provide service that is adapted to our prospects' time zones?
