Jobboom services

I already have a resumé. Do I need to create a new one with the Jobboom template?

No, you don't have to create a resumé with the Jobboom template.

The Jobboom resumé template is a tool to help you write a detailed and structured resumé. It is not mandatory.

When you apply for a job through Jobboom, you can either use your Jobboom resumé or attach your own personal resumé. Employers cannot see your Jobboom resumé unless you apply for a position at their company.

There are a lot of interesting jobs posted on the Jobboom site, but I noticed that some have been there for two months. Are these jobs still available? How often do updates occur?

Unlike other employment websites, Jobboom only shows job postings for positions that are still available.

However, once a position is filled, it is up to the employer to remove the job posting from the Jobboom site.

Has an interesting job been listed for a long time? Maybe the employer still hasn't found the right person. Why not apply? You might be just the person they are looking for!

I'm really interested in Jobboom's services, but I don't want my current employer to know that I am looking for work elsewhere. Is confidentiality guaranteed?

Employers don't send you job postings, Jobboom does. We send you job postings that match your employment interests and you decide whether or not you want to apply.

Note: To make sure you don't accidentally apply for positions posted by your current employer, we recommend that you do not apply for jobs where the employer is "confidential" (the employer's name does not appear) or a recruiting agency.
