This year, Jobboom is once again proud to participate in the Salon de l’immigration et de l’intégration au Québec (SIIQ), taking place June 9-10, 2015 at the Palais des congres de Montreal.
More than 180 professionals will be in attendance to present a variety of resources to attendees, including information about job search techniques, training programs, entrepreneurial support, networking, housing, immigration and daily life in Quebec – and much more!
Jobboom will be involved in the following events during the SIIQ:
- The “Speed Recruitment” Event offers attendees the opportunity to meet with companies that are actively recruiting new talent. It’s a great chance to grow your network of contacts and take the first step towards your next job!
- A conference about working in IT, created in partnership with recruiters from the Information Technology sector, will touch on several aspects of finding employment in this growing industry. Discussion topics will include human resource needs in the sector, sought-after competencies, training programs for interested candidates to consider and much more. The conference will be held Tuesday, June 9 at 11 am.
- Our information kiosk will be present to receive visitors and allow attendees to learn more about Jobboom services, including how we can help you find a job in your preferred sector.
