2010 job market forecast


There is cautious optimism in the Canadian job market: Less people are afraid of losing their jobs and more hope to improve their fortunes. In the United States, new jobless claims have dropped to levels close to those of summer 2008, hinting at an American recovery. Still, Canada’s lost manufacturing jobs will not return to previous levels. Instead, future job growth in manufacturing will be in more specialized forms.
