1) How can I stop receiving offers by e-mail?
To stop receiving job offers go through the following steps:
"Update my File",
"Email preferences",
"Frequency of email offers",
"I wish to receive my employment offers": click on "Never, I will view them on the Jobboom web site only".
Click then on "Save" my preferences.
To unsubscribe go through the following steps:
"Update my File",
"Subscribe and unsubscribe",
"Jobboom file": click on "Delete" in the "Subscriptions" column. Click then on "Save".
You can return to this page at any time to subscribe again by clicking "Yes" in the "Subscriptions" column and "Save".
2) What do I do if I forgot my password?
From Jobboom's home page (www.jobboom.com) select the employment field you are registered under. In the log-in area, under "Password", click on "Lost?"
A window will pop up asking for your e-mail address. Follow the instructions and your password will be sent to you by e-mail within a few minutes.
The next time you log in, check the little box that asks if you want to save your file number and password so that you do not have to type them in each time.
3) What if my e-mail address changes?
From Jobboom's home page (www.jobboom.com) select the employment field you are registered under. Log in with your file number and password.
On the next page, click on "Update my File" and then, in "Email and password" section, click on "Change", enter your new e-mail address and click on "Change" to confirm the new address. The "Update my File" page will be displayed again with your new email address.
4) How can I change my employment profile?
From Jobboom's home page (www.jobboom.com) select the employment field you are registered under. Log in with your file number and password. On the next page, click on "Update my File".
In the "Employment profile and Jobboom resumé" section, click on "Create/Modify" my Employment Profile and a new window will pop up: click on "Modify this profile" to display your current settings. Go through the steps carefully and make any necessary change to the criteria you have chosen. Before moving from one step to the next, always click the "Save" button at the bottom of each section to save the changes you have made.
5) How do I apply for a job listed on Jobboom's site?
From Jobboom's home page (www.jobboom.com) select the employment field you are registered under. Log in with your file number and password.
A list of job offers will appear that correspond with your profile. You can refine your search by using keywords or specific criteria, or sort the list according to chronological order or by employer.
Click on the job that interests you to see details of that position. To apply for the job, simply follow the instructions at the bottom of the page.
